Mighty Mouth Kids Camp in New Jersey Ages 4-7

Dates/Times: Camp is July 18th-July 25th from 9 to 2 PM with “lead-in” sessions scheduled July 12th-July 15th
Ages/Target Audience: Children (4-7 years old) with SM
The Mighty Mouth Kids Camp in New Jersey is an empirically supported intensive treatment program designed to help children with SM quickly make progress in communicating before they return to school. This week-long camp, which is modeled after Dr. Steven Kurtz’s intensive treatment program for SM, replicates a school/camp setting with a 1:1 counselor-to-child ratio. The camp is designed for children ages 4 to 7 with SM. Campers have the opportunity to practice brave talking in play situations, at lunch and snack time, in a classroom setting, and in community settings on fun field trips. The goal of the camp is to help Campers communicate across settings.
