Confident Kids Camp DC Metro Ages 4-9

We’re back for our 4th year of Confident Kids Camp – DC Metro for kids with Selective Mutism! Over the course of five days, from July 31 to August 4, 2023 (lead-ins are Jul 3-20), campers ages 4-9 will participate in a fun and intensive therapy program to help them find their brave voices. Our motto is to use fun to override the fear!
At Confident Kids Camp – DC Metro, held in Rockville, MD, campers will work with experts in Selective Mutism, professional and student volunteers, and “junior counselors” to receive 1:1 and group support in simulated classroom environments designed to prepare them for the school year ahead.
Included in the camp package, attendees receive:
✨ 25 hours of 1:1 child support
✨ 6+ hours of parent training + live coaching
✨ Classroom activities (e.g., circle time, presentations)
✨ Play-based activities (e.g., scavenger hunts)
✨ Special guest visits (e.g., therapy dogs, a firefighter)
✨ Post-camp features (e.g., written report, school training and parent consultation)
