Virtual Beginner Parent and Caregiver SM Skills Training Group

Caregivers of children with SM of all ages and from any state/country
Blake Mooney, LMHC will be leading a basic parent and caregiver skills training group. This group will provide you with coaching in PCIT-SM, our evidence-based intervention for selective mutism. These guided practice sessions will help you better lead your child’s verbal practices on your own, in real life settings. Each session targets a specific skill (see schedule below) that we practice together with therapist feedback right in the moment. There will be home practice assignments between sessions. These small groups also provide opportunities for parents and caregivers to meaningfully connect with other families who are undergoing similar challenges.
